This is a core business unit for WWN due to proprietary and patented technology. WWN has been active in developing and protecting intellectual property, with current IP portfolio including:
- U.S. Patent 7,058,355 – “Propagation of a wireless network through commercial outlets”
- U.S. Patent 7,177,643 – “Wireless network for routing a signal without using a tower”
These two patents describe implementations by a variety of mobile companies. By enforcing intellectual property infringement rights and reaching legal settlements, WWN will gain an advantage over existing competitors in this area.
